We had so much fun animating these amazing illustrations by Spencer Gabor for Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival. This bold new look for a traditionally conservative event was created to blow away the cobwebs of winter and get people out and about again for a good time.
We approached the illustrations using different techniques from 2D to frame by frame cel animation and also some sneaky 3D too.
