While not an illustrator, I have created a lot of work in collaboration with various visual artists with my role being art director and animator.
I love working with different artists and styles and finding interesting ways to animate their work using various techniques.
Responsible Gambling
Animation about responsible gambling. Created in 3D on 2D backgrounds. The characters needed to be extremely non-demographic so we made them coloured squares.

Amy Gillett Foundation - Cycling Awareness
This animation was an emotional one to work on for us. It was created to commemorate the tragic accidental death of 19 year old Luke Azzopardi, doing what he loved, cycling on the roads of Cairns.
The Amy Gillett Foundation and Luke’s family agreed this would be a strong message in the memory of this young passionate cyclist to the truckies out there to foster mutual respect and understanding between the two communities.
Our job was to make something with the sunkissed grit of the Queensland outback to appeal to all groups with an earthy touch. To do this we kept the shots steady and graphic with appealing character design and layers of texture for the salt of the earth truckie and the touring cyclist.

Monarch Paints - Elements Drop Sheet
In collaboration with Monarch, we wanted to create an earthy, eco illustrated animation to explain the benefits of the new Elements Dropsheet.
The whole spot was made to loop from water droplet to grow the sugar cane from a drip of paint to suggest the recycled nature of the product.
It is made from plant-based materials, is an innovative product made from a minimum of 57% plant-based plastic derived from renewable sugarcane. Sugarcane can be grown all year round and the fast-growing yield of this crop has been proven to help reduce CO2 from the atmosphere.
